NICOLAS lived Masevaux about 1550. ( King Charles IX )
SEBASTIEN was shoe-maker in 1588. married Claire Siberlich ( Henri III )
SEBASTIEN was born in 04.1608, maried Rosina Grewey. ( King Henri IV ).
SEBASTIAN was architect in 1702. his wife : Anna Maria Weidmänn.
Jacques - Sébastien was born at the reign of King Louis XIV. He lived
92 years and he was procurator at Masevaux in Alsace -France -
FRANCOIS born in 1741, married Rose Jaeger, his cousin.
Also procurator, he practise in Masevaux, near the swiss border.
FLORENTIN born in 1776 was usher at the time of Emperor
Napoléon 1 st. His house began the hotel of the golden eagle !

JOSEPH lived in Delémont, Switzerland, near Bern, head-office of
swiss government. He was notary a sort of banker at that time.
MARC left Alsace in order to live in West France. ( War 1870 )
He was mechanic at Poitiers.
HENRI was a sailor, radio-opérator on a trade boat. He built
his house, made of wood, at La Rochelle, his port of registry.
MARCEL my grand-father, was French officer during the second
world war. He helped the British army to go back to their country.

MARCEL my dad, was military officer and travelled a lot. Now,
at 76 years, he likes dancing and he wrote a book about his town.

, Masonvilare in latin, was created in 751.
Then, Sir Mason ( whose title was count ) established
the holy Léger abbey near a castle.
In 1375, Masevaux was occupyed by english soldiers.

Conrad-Alexandre Gérard
, borned in Masevaux, is the first Ambassador
of France in the USA ( Philadelphy 1778 ).
The first mayor of this town in 1791 was Pierre Jaeger.
In 1842, a big fire destroyed my ancestor's house.
After rehabilitation it still existing !
